Kate Obradovich A.R.N.P.

I was raised in Murfreesboro, TN, the middle child of three children (older and younger brothers). My mother is a retired Pharmacist (Auburn grad). My father was a Professional Engineer (also an Auburn grad) who succumbed to cancer at age 52 after an 8 year battle. His chronic and ultimately terminal illness played a major role in my deciding upon Nursing as a career path.

I graduated from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville with my BSN in 2006. I have always had a passion for children, first running the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church nursery in high school and continuing babysitting for the same family I met though the nursery throughout my undergraduate time at UTK. I then worked at Monroe Carell Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Pediatric Trauma (Level I) following successful completion of their six month Pediatric Nurse Residency Program.

I relocated to Jacksonville, Florida in 2010, met my husband Daniel, and graduated from The University of North Florida with my MSN in 2013 while working at Wolfson Children’s Hospital in the emergency department. I am an ANCC Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner.

In my free time, I enjoy traveling extensively with Daniel (a Physical Therapist) on out-of-the-country surf adventures, actively pursuing a Yogi path together with him, getting lost in a good book (paper not Kindle), attending concerts (at least two a year is our rule), eating authentic cultural cuisines that are too labor-intensive to make at home (Peruvian, Indian, Thai, Vietnamese etc), and getting in ample beach time wherever we can get it!

I believe adequate sleep, a healthy diet, an active lifestyle, and positive relationships = the fountain of youth.

We are excited for our new journey in Melbourne, Florida and I greatly look forward to providing the best care for your babies!
